About me

This is the blog of Elizabeth Lemmon.  I’m a homeschooled graduate, living in the backwoods of Kentucky for now, but headed to the University of Louisville this fall for a degree in Music Performance.

I love, love, love, playing the violin.  Music is a breath of God’s presence and love in the world, and it is a gift to be able to make music for the Master of Music forever.

I have eight siblings, who are also being homeschooled, or will be homeschooled when they reach school age, by my parents.  My dad is a self-employed carpenter, and bivocational priest for our little church plant here in Liberty, KY.  We are affiliated with the Anglican Church of America.

As far as my interests go… if you said Anything you got about half of it.  I want to live my life to the fullest, and that is pretty all-inclusive.  My bucket-list is about five miles long.  Top five things I enjoy, besides playing the violin, are travel, reading, hiking/boating/swimming, writing (even though I update this blog at random and sometimes lengthy intervals), and shooting :D

I recently published my first book, A Window Closed, and it is available for purchase through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, practically any bookseller online, and also through Authorhouse.

I love kids, love my family, love my God, love my life in general, and I hope you enjoy this peek into the Musings of a Scribbler.

I think God is using you to bring a spot of brightness into an increasingly darker world
